Upward Spirals Foundations of Health Workshop


2017 saw the first Upward Spirals Foundation Course launched in Jan. which proved to be a real hit! This is an experiential and practical introduction that integrates all aspects of the programme and is recommended for Positive Health Plus Ambassadors and those who are interested in making positive changes in their lives.


This workshop combines positive psychology, mindfulness & foundational aspects of health: nutrition, exercise & sleep. Measures are scored pre and post course to evaluate outcomes and provide information for marketing purposes.

Meditation for Rebels


Ever tried meditation but ended up feeling that you can't do it right, or not managed to stick with it? Then this course could be for you!


Meditation for rebels is a practical, experiential, course designed to help you find what works well for you as an individual and to discover the best ways to establish and maintain your meditation practice. Through encouragng personal empowerment, incorporating concepts and activities from Positive Psychology alongside mindfulness meditation in a truly holistic approach, we aim to boost the benefits for health and wellbeing.


You will:

  • Identify your individual area of health for focussed attention 
  • Discover your unique balance of character strengths and how you can use these to both support meditation practice 
  • Understand your individual blocks, attributional style and mindset to increase self-awareness and for personal development 

Working with small groups in a relaxed environment and informal teaching style, Maggie creates a safe place to meet like minded individuals, share stories and most importantly - have fun! After the course is completed, there will be opportunities to attend regular follow up sessions to maintain progress and connections if you wish.

Healthy Mind, Happy Body


New Year’s resolutions are often about losing weight but many of us fail to lose weight, or keep it off long-term.


Upward Spirals (US) has developed a unique approach: looking at the whole picture – mind and body – and discovering what works well for each individual rather than a one-size-fits-all solution (that doesn’t work for many).


You don’t have to be struggling with weight issues to come as this is also a ‘preventative’ workshop to help you and those you love regain or maintain a healthy weight!
